Show and Tell

My husband works in a factory. From what I understand, most engineers do. Yesterday he had this big, important presentation for all the managers, from his direct manager to the guy in charge of the whole factory. He got home from work late because of his presentation.

I was explaining to my three-year-old that Daddy was going to be home after bedtime tonight because he had to work late and give his presentation. She asked, "What's a presentation?"

I said it's kind of like a grown-up version of show-and-tell. She got all fired up about it. She thought it was so cool that Daddy would have show-and-tell the same week that she had show-and-tell!
